Frequently Asked Questions

How much meat does one bag season?
One 8 oz. bag seasons approximately 25 pounds of sausage meat. A full case of 24 bags will season up to 600 pounds of meat.
What's in AC Legg Blend #10?
It's a Southern-style pork sausage seasoning with high levels of sage, red pepper, and black pepper. Some red pepper is visibly crushed in the blend. The product contains no MSG.
Can I use this for meats other than pork?
Yes. While formulated for pork sausage, you can use it to season any desired meat at the same ratio of approximately 1 part seasoning per 25 parts meat.
How is this packaged and will it stay fresh?
AC Legg Blend #10 comes in high-barrier, multi-wall packaging designed to protect the seasoning's freshness and flavor during storage.
Do I need special equipment to use this seasoning?
The product works best with standard meat processing equipment—a grinder with plates (1 inch, then 2/32, 5/12, or 1/8 inch) and a mixer. You can then bulk package or stuff into casings as desired.
