- Intermediate-level Orange Bullet model rocket inspired by the original Vern Estes Designer Signature Series rocket
- Historic tumble-recovery design shifts the center of gravity after engine burnout for safe, gentle descent
The Estes 7295 Orange Bullet model-rocket-building kit encourages intermediate-level model-rocket enthusiasts to fly with big dreams. Designed for adults and kids ages 10+ (supervision recommended for ages under 12), this rocket-building kit is modeled after Estess first rocket in the Designer Signature Series and the first complete kit ever designed by Vern Estes. The original design was meant to shift the center of gravity (CG) back after the engine popped out at apogee, causing the rocket to tumble gently instead of streamlining nose first. The modern version can reach launch heights up to 500 ft. when powered by Estes mini engines (sold separately). This easy-to-assemble rocket-building kit can inspire a solo STEM enthusiast or provide a demonstration for a small group of rocketeers. It includes the reusable parts for launch, including a nose cone, a body tube, and design components. Perfect for families, friends, hobbyists, or aspiring rocketeers, the 7295 Orange Bullet model-rocket-building kit offers hands-on experience in engineering and aerospace. After assembly time of approximately 1 hour, this rocket model will be ready for proud display or launch prep. To build and launch this rocket, you will need an Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad, an Electron Beam Launch Controller, compatible Estes model-rocket engines, Starters, Recovery Wadding, and 4 AA batteries (sold separately). Always follow the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code during operation. Estes rocket kits are built from the highest-quality components and designed around the unforgettable experience of pressing launch. Our hobby and STEM educational products range across all skill levels, interests, and power levels. Unleash the space dreamer and science enthusiast in you with an Estes model rocket!
