It's designed for water-based acrylic paints, especially metallic, colorshift, and one-step paints like Contrast, Speedpaints, and Xpress Colors that you don't want on a wet palette. Do not use with alcohol, enamel, or oil-based paints.
Should I use the white or black silicone?
